Assistant Coach - Dallas Dunn

Dallas grew up in New Brunswick playing baseball and basketball.  He played in provincial finals for two years in a row for both sports, capturing game MVPs in each sport the final year and winning the basketball provincial finals with his team.  Dallas was named a Provincial All Star for each sport in final year of playing and collected school Male Athlete of the year.  Dallas also played junior baseball and was selected for Team New Brunswick. Dallas was offered University scholarships by Mount Allison University and Dalhousie University for both baseball and basketball and asked to tryout for Team Canada in baseball.  But rather than pursuing these avenues, he chose to move to Alberta to be closer to family and pursue a career in the trades. He moved to Stony Plain in 2000 and has been involved with coaching his son's hockey and soccer since 2010 and continues to play ball, hockey and golf. Dallas was fortunate to be instructed by some very influential coaches, including an NBAA Coach of the Year and a MLB Scout.  The coaching that he received provided him with his coaching basis and has influenced his coaching philosophies. He is happy to be able to share what he has learned with his son and his teammates.
